Tonight, February 2, is the TeenNick premiere of the hour-long musical special “The Wonder Girls” at 8 p.m. ET. The film follows Korean pop stars Wonder Girls (Yenny, Yubin, Sun, Sohee, and Lim) as they prepare for their U.S. debut and enter a talent competition at the famous Apollo Theatre, performing against the School Gyrls.

Last night was the Hollywood premiere of the Wonder Girls and School Gyrls’ new film “The Wonder Girls” and Nickelodeon stars Gracie Dzienny (Supah Ninjas), Tiffany Espensen (Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures), Stephen Glickman (Big Time Rush), and Nick Cannon attended the red carpet event. “The Wonder Girls” Premieres On TeenNick February 2, 2012 – New Music!

South Korean K-Pop superstars Wonder Girls meet their rivals School Gyrls in the new one-hour special “The Wonder Girls” premiering on TeenNick February 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The special will include new music from the group, including the pop/dubstep collaboration “The DJ is Mine” (below) and follows Wonder Girls stars Yenny, Yubin, Sun, Sohee, and Lim as they prepare for their U.S. debut and enter a talent competition at the famous Apollo Theatre, performing against the School Gyrls.

The first Korean act to break the Billboard Hot 100, the Wonder Girls are fast becoming huge stars in North America, hitting millions of views on their music videos, touring with the Jonas Brothers and Justin Bieber, and releasing their English language debut album this year (with tracks produced by Claude Kelly and Nick Jonas).
