Jennette McCurdy was born on June 26, 1992, in Garden Grove, California. She has three older brothers: Marcus, Scott, and Dustin. Jennette first took interest at a young age after watching Harrison Ford play Han Solo in “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.”

Jennette began her acting career at only eight years old in 2000 on “MADtv.” Over the years, she made appearances in such hits as “CSI,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Zoey 101,” and “Will & Grace.” In 2007, Jennette took on the role of Sam Puckett in Nickelodeon’s ever-popular show “iCarly.” She has since been nominated for and won multiple awards for her work on the comedic show.
A musician as well as an actor, Jennette released her first album called “Not That Far Away” in 2008. Jennette’s country hits like “Generation Love” have garnered her critical acclaim. She plans to release a new album in the near future.
Jennette is a strong advocate of volunteering and helping others – supporting the Cody Waters Foundation, the Invisible Children Inc. group, Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Safe Kids USA. She serves as a StarPower Ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation.
