Keke Palmer Begins Filming “Ragz” Tomorrow

“Ragz,” a Nickelodeon teen musical scheduled for a release in 2012, begins filming tomorrow. The star of “True Jackson, VP,” Keke Palmer has a busy year ahead of her with producing and starring in “Ragz,” voicing the character of Keisha on “Winx Club,” and finishing her second album. Keke will also star alongside Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton in “Joyful Noise” and voice the character of Peaches in “Ice Age: Continental Drift.”

“Winx Club” Specials On Nickelodeon

According to reports Nickelodeon will be airing four new one-hour “Winx Club” specials in the US, UK, Latin America, Canada and Benelux this summer. These will then be followed by “Winx Club” season four in the Fall of 2011 and season five beginning February 2012. The upcoming seasons will be co-produced with Nickelodeon.

Keke Palmer Voicing Aisha In Nickelodeon’s “Winx Club”

Nickelodeon has announced that Keke Palmer will be voicing the character Aisha in the Nickelodeon animated action and fantasy series “Winx Club.” The new series will debut on Nickelodeon in 2012.

The show is set in the mystical dimension of Magix where three schools educate modern fairies, witches and supernatural warriors. The show originated in Italy six years ago and we can’t wait to watch it in the US! What about you?

Nickelodeon Will Begin Airing “Winx Club”

Nickelodeon has picked up the US television rights to the series “Winx Club” and the movies based on the series. Nickelodeon has also secured all merchandising rights to the series in a number of other territories where it has received pay-TV rights, including Latin America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Benelux.

Nickelodeon and producer Rainbow will co-develop and co-produce 52 new episodes of the series – split into two season – which will begin airing in 2012. However, previous episodes of the show will air on Nickelodeon in 2011, with four hour-long specials based on the first two seasons as well as episodes from the third and fourth seasons.
