Jennette McCurdy Co-Hosting Microsoft's Project Natal Xbox Event

Nickelodeon actress Jennette McCurdy, from the hit series “iCarly,” will be co-hosting Microsoft’s Project Natal Xbox event on Sunday, June 13th at the E3 conference.

Jennette took to Twitter to let her fans know that she was excited for the opportunity:

I’m really excited to be co-hosting the Project Natal Xbox event Sunday featuring a Cirque De Soleil performance. E3! Woohoo!

Drake "Gears Of War" Video Game

Actor turned singer Drake will be voicing a character in the upcoming “Gears of War” video game. Drake’s character is named Jace Stratton. The game follows a crew of human soldiers battling alien mutants. Sounds like a lot of fun to us, and apparently it sounded great to Drake too, because according to the press release, he “couldn’t pass it up.” Does this sound like a video game you’ll be playing?

SpongeBob SquarePants Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG)

MTV Networks Asia has teamed with GigaMedia to create a Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) based on the high Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants. The game will launch in 2011 in multiple languages for players in China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India.

Jihee Nam, Vice President of Digital for MTV Networks Asia, said about the planned game:

Partnering with GigaMedia on the development of a SpongeBob SquarePants MMOG allows us to bring the residents of Bikini Bottom into a whole new world — one that is tremendously popular in Asia and presents unlimited creative and business opportunities for the franchise. SpongeBob SquarePants is Nickelodeon’s best known property within Asia and we’re extremely proud to oversee the development of the MMOG with local business partners. We look forward to working hand in hand with GigaMedia on bringing SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary and Sandy Cheeks to life in an entirely new and incredibly popular online world.

Dreamworks Animation Shrek Forever After Video Game

If you can’t get enough of Shrek and all of his friends, be sure to pick up the new Shrek Forever After video game. This multiplayer game can take up to four players at a time.

Characters in the game include:

- Shrek
- Fiona
- Puss In Boots
- Donkey
- And More!

Players will have to fend of Rumplestiltskin’s army of evil characters while solving puzzles and navigating through Shrek’s two realities.

"The Last Airbender" Game Coming To Wii And DS

The Last Airbender” video game will be exclusive to Wii and DS. The game is being published by THQ, and according to Doug Clemmer, the head of Kids, Family and Casual Games, the game will have

original gameplay elements that create an experience never previously seen before on the Wii system.

During game play, players can choose from three characters: Aang, Zuko and the Blue Spirit. Get ready for the game to release this June 2010!
