Nickelodeon will launch the new NickMom programming block on Nick Jr. this fall and when this happens a new show will air, titled “Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder Taylor.” So far 26 episodes of the show have been ordered. Check out the description of the show below:
“This new show blends studio elements, interviews, video commentary, monologues and panel discussions with field pieces including hidden camera, mom on the street and sketch comedy. Each episode explores a different element of parenting, all through the irreverent and funny eyes of author and comedienne Stefanie Wilder Taylor. Executive produced by Hugh Fink and Stefanie Wilder Taylor.”
Does this sound like a show you’re interested in tuning in for?
Uh oh! Nickelodeon changed up its Nick Jr. programming, and two of the characters that were eliminated are “Moose & Zee.” From the comments we’ve been getting here on Nickutopia.com, and the comments we’ve seen elsewhere, parents are utterly outraged that the characters that air in-between shows on the network have been given the boot.
Chances are that Nick Jr. decided to eliminated “Moose & Zee” segments to make room for more commercials, but we can understand parents’ concern over loosing two beloved characters. Do you think Nick Jr. should bring “Moose & Zee” back and give them their own full length show?

On May 1, 2012 Nickelodeon is releasing the “Bubble Guppies” special “Bubble Puppy’s Fintastic Fairytale Adventure” to DVD! Here’s a description of the special, which aired on Nick Jr. on February 18, 2012:
“Once upon a time, Molly and Gil went up a hill to fetch a pail of water. But when a mean witch, played by Wanda Sykes, turns Bubble Puppy into a frog, Molly and Gil enlist the help of some famous fairytale friends to undo her mean green spell. And they’d better work fast–or else no one in the Enchanted Forest will live happily ever after!”
