Nick Jr (US), TVO (Canada), and TVA (French Canada) have ordered a second season of the hit show “Dino Dan,” which will contain 52 episodes (11 minutes each). The new season will go into production for a second season of 52 x 11-minute episodes with production starting this March.
A “host of consumer products” are also expected to be released in March – including dinosaur toys, the iTunes app “Dino Defence,” and a “Dino Dan” DVD!

We’ve had a lot of fans asking when a “Dino Dan” DVD will be released. Here’s some good news! Recently, NCircle Entertainment has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to Nick Jr‘s “Dino Dan” and plans to release the show in late December.

Nick Jr‘s Dino Dan made its big jump to the internet this week, now boasting a full website, online store, and Facebook page. The website features a virtual dig site where fans can use different tools to uncover ancient fossils, games, and many facts about your favorite prehistoric creatures.
Later this year, secret codes will be distributed through marketing and merchandise campaigns that will unlock even more content, dinosaurs, and points. The Facebook page will give news updates, videos and clips, and give fans a chance to interact.
