At a recent press conference, M. Night Shyamalan, who most recently directed Nickelodeon’s “The Last Airbender,” had to defend his movies when a reporter asked him if he had sold himself out to gain back the audience he had lost. M. Night gets pretty upset and may not have answered the reporter in the best way possible – what do you think?
Nickelodeon has announced a new animated series set to premiere in 2011, tentatively titled “The Legend of Korra.” The show will be a spinoff of Nickelodeon’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
The new show is from the same creators and producers of “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” The show will focus on a teen girl avatar named Korra who is independent and ready to take on the world!

M. Night Shyamalan talked to MTV recently about what features fans can expect to see on “The Last Airbender” Blu-ray and DVD when it is released. According to M. Night Shyamalan, the second movie, if greenlit, would be darker – interesting!
