“The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra” Trailer And New Information Revealed

July 26, 2011 |  by  |  2 Comments

This weekend at Comic-Con International, Nickelodeon unveiled the new trailer for the upcoming “The Last Airbender” miniseries “Legend of Korra” as well as new information on the series. “Legend of Korra” will premiere on Nickelodeon in 2012 with two seasons – 12 episodes in the first and 14 in the second.

Picking up 70 years after the original series, Korra of the water tribe has become the new Avatar. If Aang was the last airbender, how will be able to teach Korra airbending? Tenzin, Aang and Katara’s son, may hold the answer.

Korra’s companions are Mako (firebender) and Bolin (earthbender) – brothers from United Republic, “a city founded by Aang and Zuko meant to be a multicultural metropolis where people from all the Tribes live together.”

The Revolution, chi-blockers (anti-benders), stand in between Korra and her destiny. Also against her are the Metalbender Cops, led by Toph’s daughter – the sheriff of Republic City.

This looks amazing! How excited are you to see “Legend of Korra?”
