Still no release date for Nickelodeon’s “Avatar: The Legend of Korra.” But, there is this awesome chase scene featuring a great look at Republic City, the show’s soundtrack and feel, comedy, and Korra and Naga kicking butt.
How excited are you for “Legend of Korra” to premieres?
Composers Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn, also known as The Track Team (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: The Legend of Korra), recently spoke with Comic Book Movie about the upcoming Nickelodeon series “Avatar: The Legend of Korra.” When asked about the tone of the new series, they explained:
The tone of the story is much different now and the characters are older and more mature and they’re even drawn differently, you know. They’re drawn more realistically. The setting is different, well I can’t talk about it much, but the setting is different. With all these factors, the tone is much more mature, the result is the music is much different. We wanted to explore the instruments a little more deeply. So what we did is, the music is a little more sparse so that you can hear the actual performance of the instruments a little bit more and you can hear the details a bit more and we could go a little bit deeper with that kind of thing.
We can’t wait to see the show! How about you?
