Nickelodeon Issues An Apology About Jason Biggs
Nickelodeon has been receiving a number of complaints ever since they promoted actor Jason Biggs’ Twitter account since he is one of the actors voicing a character in the upcoming “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series. At the time Jason was not filtering his Twitter account, and many parents were outraged at what their kids saw on it.
Here is the statement from Nickelodeon:
Nickelodeon does not support or condone the use of graphic or vulgar language on any of our platforms. It was our mistake to link from our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles twitter feed to Jason’s personal twitter account, and we quickly corrected our error. We also insisted Jason use better judgment and discretion in public communications while affiliated with our brand.
Jason has since removed a number of the offending Tweets, however many parents still want Jason removed from the TMNT series. What are YOUR thoughts on this? Take our poll to let us know!
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” will premiere on Nickelodeon on September 29, 2012!
