NickMom Night Out Arriving On Nickelodeon’s NickMom In October

August 22, 2012 |  by

Nickelodeon is launching a NickMom programming block that will air each night on Nick Jr. beginning on October 1, 2012. The programming block will air from 10pm-12am and will then replay from 12am-2am.

One of the shows being added to the programming includes “NickMom Night Out.” Here’s a description of the show from the network:

NickMom Night Out (26 episodes) is a stand-up comedy series that takes moms out for a night at the comedy club from the comfort of their couches at home. Featured hosts include Tisha Campbell-Martin (LA edition), Judy Gold (NY edition), Caroline Rhea (Orlando, Fla., edition), and Bonnie McFarlane (Chicago edition). The series spotlights the chaos and hilarity that comes with being a parent. NickMom Night Out is executive produced by Bob Mittenthal (Double Dare).

Does this sound like a show you’d want to watch?

  1. What the heck! Why are you playing completely inappropriate shows on Nick Jr. This should be a channel completely devoted to children. There are enough channels that air adult shows. Why are you taking away children’s programming. I do not need a channel that my preschooler and elementary age kids watch now talking about sex and private parts. We are on the West Coast which means these shows do not start a 10 pm but much earlier. Very disappointed!

This is awful, keep kids shows on nick jr.

  3. Why???????? I am just a grandma, but I’m here to tell you…how in awfully disappointed I am to see this mess. My grand daughter will not be watching this!!!! We might just have to disconnect this channel! There are enough other channels out there, why would you do this?!?!?!!

  4. Ok I am beyond pissed off regarding the changes Nick Jr. is making!!! Lets get this clear if you want to be a comedian go to Comedy Central, that would be more appropriate than on Nick Jr. which is a kids network!!! The jokes are not funny when you have a screaming 2 year old crying about wanting to watch Yo Gabba Gabba or Dino Dan!!!! We’re stuck with the crap of these mothers trying to be funny!!! I am a mother & this is not funny!!! Get out of here & bring the real shows back!!!

  5. If you want to put trash on the air then please make your own channel for it. Nick Jr should be Nick Jr 24/7. My kids are normally in bed by 8:30 during the week but there are times that it would be nice to have Nick Jr at night. Like last week my youngest was sick and could not sleep. I sat in her bed with her and went to put on Nick Jr to watch with her and here I find this Nick Mom trash. It’s not even funny or anything that a mom would watch…or anyone with a pulse. Take it off the air!

  6. Personally… I love it. A comedy show geared towards moms on a channel we all know so well. Poking fun at things we’ve all had to deal with or are currently dealing with. We all love our children and have our moments where we sit back and laugh at ourselves. What’s better then having people point out the obvious, mom insiders. As for our children not having something to watch at 12 am, read them a book sing them to sleep. And add nick moms night out to the dvr list.

  7. If you don’t like the programming why don’t you un super glue your spoiled brat from the television and take them outside to play, read them a book, play a bored game with them, or just simply turn the tv tube off and spend time with them.
