Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” Was Not Renewed For Another Season
Even though there were numerous reports stating that Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” had been renewed for another season, it turns out that the show will in fact end after this current season. What a bummer!
Here’s what show creator Dan Schneider revealed to TVGuide:
Everyone at iCarly has been like family to me for five years. When we film our very last scene, there will be a lot of crying, I know. But I also know that in television, you don’t want to over-stay your welcome. I want to go out the way we are — on a creative high-note. I hope iCarly’s legacy will be that it’s a truly funny TV show that made people of all ages laugh, smile, and feel good. To the iCarly fans, I’d say, ‘Thank you’ a million times, for the love, support and true passion they’ve shown for iCarly. It’s the fans that made iCarly a huge hit, and invited us into their homes on a daily basis, to entertain them. How do you say thank you to millions and millions of people all around the world, for bringing you into their homes every single day? It’s amazing. I’d love to take each and every iCarly fan out to dinner and give them a big ol’ bear hug!

What stinks is that the reason why True Jackson ended is(I think) because Victorious caused Nick to mistreat Keke’s show and it lost viewers and Nick rarely ever showed commercials for TJVP after Victorious started to air. People blame it on Dan Schneider, the creator of iCarly and Victorious for causing this, but iCarly wasn’t included in this, just Victorious. They also won the award at the 2012 KCA’s, knocking iCarly off the row of awards they’ve won ever since the 2008 KCA’s which kind of bummed me out because I don’t like Victorious and I really love iCarly, it’s my favorite show ever and it really ticked me off when I found out Victorious won. I bet Miranda was so upset, I don’t blame her, especially being all excited for the award.
I don’t want iCarly to end!!! But i know it has to be…i just hope the last scene would make a memory that cannot be forgotten. In plus, remember all the good times:)I will miss all the cast and their special love and my very own special meant to be couple…Creddie:)

Just like Zoey101, icarly only lasted 5 years. Dan Schnieder only let’s his TV series go on for 5 years, then drops them. Hopefully, he will come up with a new show for icarly fans.

you know what really sucks? is that Spongebob is still on and man i hate that show . its like they take off a good show and have all the other stupid ones on except Big Time Rush love that show and there having a new season in May for all you true BTR fans!
