Here’s some awesome news for fans of actor Lucas Cruikshank and his character Fred Figglehorn! Nickelodeon will premiere “Fred: The Show” on February 20, 2012 at 8pm ET/PT! The premiere will include back-to-back 11-minute episodes and will be similar to the web series, starring Lucas, and “Fred: The Movie.”

After the premiere of the show be sure to tune in every Friday for a new episode (beginning February 24, 2012).

Here’s a description of the premiere episodes from Nickelodeon:

“In the first half of the premiere, ‘Evil Fred Part 1,’ several of Fred’s neighbors confront him after seeing him destroying their property. Fred declares his innocence but no one believes him. For Fred, there can only be one explanation – a portal to another dimension has opened up and an ‘evil’ version of him is now creating havoc in the neighborhood. In the second half of the premiere, ‘Evil Fred Part 2,’ Fred discovers that his nemesis, Kevin, is actually responsible for the mischief and crafts a plan to catch him in the act.”
