Keke Palmer To Star In “Catching Fire?” – “The Hunger Games” Sequel
Here’s some big “The Hunger Games” news. Yesterday, February 5, before the Super Bowl, Keke Palmer made an exciting announcement over Twitter:
I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL be in the second one!!!!!!
If this is true, and Keke didn’t mean that she is determined to be cast for the second one, it is HUGE news for Keke!
Lionsgate’s “The Hunger Games” hits theaters March 23 and “Catching Fire” is set to hit theaters November 22, 2013. Based on Suzanne Collins’ bestselling trilogy, “Catching Fire” will be written by Simon Beaufoy (“127 Hours,” “Slumdog Millionaire”) and directed by Gary Ross.

That’s what I thought when I saw her tweet cuz I mean it makes sense.
No!! No offense but Disney and Nickelodeon need to just stay with their T.V. shows. It would honestly kinda ruin it because all I’d be able to think about during her parts in the movie would be her in True Jackson V.P. I mean come one people! Don’t mix a girl who only 7-10 year old kids have heard of with a best-selling trilogy for YOUNG ADULTS. That’s like handing an invite to little kids saying to see the movie cuz their fav star is in it. The Hunger Games is totally not a kid movie I mean just the concept of it (killing off 23 kids on T.V. just to show people they can) is not kid appropriate.
I think shell be Thresh’s sister in the Hunger Games.
omg u people are stupid who says that she should just stay with nick i mean come on, most kid and teen actors/actresses start with disney or nick so what if they want to spread their wings YOU cant controll that, its common sense. If you were an actor on nick and you got to a certin age what do you think your supposed to do? stay with nick? NO go out make movies go do other tv shows and apperences. No racial, but Keke cant be in the next movie unless she plays an older version of the black girl from the first movie. I mean, lets be honest, there really is no other role she can do since there are no other black people in the book or movie. The fact is: There would be too many black people for all these white people to handle. Why do you think there is not alot of people on Disney or Nick? Or even regular tv for that matter? Whenever there is one, they play this ghetto,, mean and fast role that is too stereotypical. I would love to see Keke in the next one, but who really is gonna put her in there if they are too shallow to put enough black people in there??

ahhmm, I beg to disagree someone like her will be given the role of Thresh’s sister or one of Rue’s siblings (because Rue is the Oldest amongst mind you and it has not been a year since she died in the 74th HG) so there, I think It’s more of a claiming thing::))
But I do love her esp her role in THE JOYFUL NOISE
