Jennette McCurdy Signs Deal With UTA – Could This Mean The End Of “ICarly?”
Yesterday, Deadline reported that “iCarly” co-star Jennette McCurdy has signed a new deal with UTA (United Talent Agency). The talent agency represents such big stars as Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford (one of Jennette’s favorites) and plans to work with Jennette in areas of television, film, and music.
Congratulations Jennette on her big announcement!
While “iCarly” begins production on its sixth season next year, is it possible that Jennette’s new deal might mean the sixth season will also be its last? The report announced work on a television pilot that would act as a starring vehicle for Jennette and stated that she plans to segue from country music to pop.
What do you think? Are you excited to see what the future holds for Jennette? Would you be sad to see “iCarly” go?
