This month, Nickelodeon stars are taking the nation’s capitol by storm to spread the holiday spirit. “Victorious” star Victoria Justice will be performing alongside Justin Bieber and Cee Lo Green during the “Christmas in Washington” celebration in Washington DC on December 11 and tomorrow (December 1) the boys of Big Time Rush will have their chance to rock the White House.
Tomorrow, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Carlos Pena, and James Maslow will be performing at the national Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Washington DC alongside such acts as will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, OneRepublic, Rodney Atkins, Marsha Ambrosius, host Carson Daly, and Muppet star Kermit the Frog!
President Barack Obama and his family will be on hand to light the tree, signalling the beginning of December and the holiday season. The event will be televised nationally throughout December.

Nickelodeon’s “House of Anubis” was nominated for Best Children’s Drama at this weekend’s British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards in London and the cast wowed fans on the red carpet and later posted pics from the night online. Star Nathalia Ramos (above) showed off her gorgeous dress by Emilio de la Morena and Ana Mulvoy Ten (below) posed in her beautiful Moschino dress.

Directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ newest film “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn” took Europe by storm during its premiere last month and will be making its way to theaters in the United States on December 21. Fans of Peter Jackson might know that the “The Lord of The Rings” director is currently hard at work filming the two-part epic “The Hobbit” in New Zealand. The first film “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is set to hit theaters December 14, 2012.
According to Digital Spy’s recent interview with “The Lord of the Rings” star Elijah Wood, the first trailer for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is expected to premiere in front of “The Adventures of Tintin” in the United States.
