Yesterday, the northeastern states were hit with a surprising amount of snow. In the middle of it all were Nathan Kress (in Connecticut) and Ashley Argota and her musician/actor friend Abi Ann Hoffman (in New York), who posted pictures of their encounters with the snow.
Ashley tweeted:
We’ve been braving the snowy NYC streets all day![]()
And while Nathan was having a blast in the snow at first, it might be causing him some troubles:
Okay, we’re watching the Weather Channel. Not digging this snow as much any more… haha we might be having an extended stay here in CT![]()
Did it snow in your hometown? How strange is it to be making snow angels for Halloween?

While much of Big Time Rush‘s new movie “Big Time Movie” is being filmed in Vancouver, BC Canada, director Savage Steve Holland chose to film a group of scenes in Victoria, BC Canada, at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University, and Victoria’s Chinatown.
James Maslow, Logan Henderson, Carlos Pena, and Kendall Schmidt have been having a blast filming the movie and seeing the sights they might not normally get to see when shooting on a stage.
James was most excited by the castle, tweeting:
My new castle. Check it. Anybody recognize it? Perhaps from a famous movie? Xoxo, JM
In fact, other than “Big Time Movie,” many large movies and television shows have been shot at or around Hatley Castle, with roles including Lex Luthor’s estate in “Smallville” and Professor Xavier’s school in the “X-Men” films.
You can read more about Hatley Park here.
How cool is that! We’re so excited to hear more about “Big Time Movie.” How about you?

This morning, Ariana Grande announced to Twitter the title of her first single off her highly-anticipated album. Ariana performed the song, “Put Your Hearts Up,” for the first time at the Progressive Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular in Moline IL. She had collaborated with Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes in writing the song, featuring the “Yeah Yeah Yeah…” section from the song Linda’s “What’s Up.”
Lucky fan JustDreamZoey caught the whole thing on camera and uploaded it to YouTube, giving everyone a chance to listen to the new song before Ariana announced it.
In fact, Ariana had yet to name the song, stating:
You guy actually helped me decide what the single is going to be called! I couldn’t choose between Put Your Hearts Up & Change the World!
Fans had discovered the video earlier than the announcement, and chose “Put Your Hearts Up” as the winning title.
