Keke Palmer Asks Fans To Take An Oath Against Bullying
Musician and film and television star Keke Palmer is joining the alliance between YWCA USA and Saving Our Daughters to help combat bullying and abuse within young people throughout the United States. A strong advocate against bullying, Keke knows just what it can lead to. One of Keke’s biggest fans – 12-year-old Iliss – was fighting brain cancer and was bullied cruelly before losing her life to the illness.
Keke will be the leader for the “Oath Project,” encouraging girls to take an oath to never bully. The project will launch using Facebook and Twitter, hoping to have thousands of teens and adults take the oath and learn steps to preventing bullying.
An anti-bullying PSA featuring Keke will premiere in October during National Bullying Awareness month.
Check out Keke’s personal video to her fans below about bullying.
Are you planning on taking the oath? Have you ever been a victim of bullying?
