“Monsuno” Hits Nicktoons In 2012 – New Animated Series

Nickelodeon has announced its new distribution deal with JAKKS Pacific, Inc., Dentsu Entertainment USA, and FremantleMedia Enterprises for a brand new animated series “Monsuno.” Aimed towards boys age 6-11, the 52-episode action-packed cartoon is expected to make its way to Nicktoons in Spring of 2012.

The cartoon follows a group of boys who discover, command, and battle powerful creatures in a race to save the world from an evil force. The series will be distributed by Nickelodeon in the United States first, followed by Latin America, the United Kingdom, key European and Eastern European territories, Australia and New Zealand, India, Southeast Asia, Russia and Africa. It will be supported by a toy line.
