Universal Pictures Making “Ouija” Board Movie

June 17, 2011 |  by

Universal Pictures has announced that it will be going through with its plan to make a film on the popular Hasbro Ouija Board. Joseph “McG” Nichol (director of “Terminator Salvation”) will direct the film. “Tron Legacy” writers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis wrote the first draft of the script, which will be revised by Simon Kinberg (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Sherlock Holmes).

Following a family, the story is said to have influences from adventure films like the “The Mummy” and “Indiana Jones” series’.

The film will go into production this summer for a November 9, 2012 release.

Sounds pretty interesting. We can’t wait to hear more on the project. How about you?
