Big Time Rush Begin Recording Second Album
The past few weeks, the boys of Big Time Rush were in and out of the studio writing and recording demos that would be considered for the second album. Now, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena, and Logan Henderson are officially in the studio recording their second album with multi-platinum producers Chris Rojas and Damon Sharpe, who has worked with such artists as Jennifer Lopez and New Boyz.
Here’s what Carlos tweeted yesterday:
Back in the studio with the boys.. recording has officially begun for the 2nd album!!! get ready!!!
The band’s first album “B.T.R.” peaked at number one on the charts for Top Soundtracks and number three on the U.S. Billboard 200.
When interviewed, the band implied the album could see a release when the third season of “Big Time Rush” airs. The show was recently renewed for a third season that will begin production in January of 2012. Hopefully we see the full-length album sooner than January.
Are you excited for the band’s second album?
