On June 14, 2011 Nickelodeon is releasing a new SpongeBob SquarePants DVD titled “Heroes of Bikini Bottom.” The DVD reportedly consists of 8 “SpongeBob SquarePants” episodes with 88 minutes of run-time. Also on the DVD are bonus features including animated shorts and an episode of Nickelodeon’s new cartoon “T.U.F.F. Puppy.”

Actress and singer Jennette McCurdy donated $139,643 from her recent mall tour to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Here’s what Jennette revealed about being able to donate the money to a good cause:
What a great few weeks this has been, being able to play for so many great fans that came out to the shows. What made it even better was the opportunity to partner with St. Jude and not only bring awareness to their life-changing facility but also raise money to help the patients that come through their doors. I’m proud and honored to be associated with St. Jude and their amazing cause!

Miranda Cosgrove has already gotten into NYU and USC, but she isn’t just putting off accepting the colleges because she has other schools she hopes to hear from, she is also putting making a college decision on hold because she has decided to participate in filming the fifth (and most likely final) season of Nickelodeon’s hit show “iCarly.” Chances are Miranda will head off to college in a year once the show is off the air.

On June 21, 2011 Nickelodeon is releasing a new DVD to store shelves called “Nickelodeon Favorites: Summer Vacation.” No word yet on which episodes of your favorite Nickelodeon shows will be on the DVD, but you’ll be able to enjoy 147 minutes of run-time with your favorite Nick characters!

Victoria Justice is set to star in a new movie called “Fun Size,” and it was just announced that actor Thomas Mann would be playing the role opposite hers in the film. Thomas will play a character named Roosevelt who is the star of the debate team at school. Roosevelt ends up falling in love with Victoria’s character Wren.
Roosevelt is afraid of breaking the rules, but he ends up helping Wren out when she needs him to help her find her younger brother on Halloween.
