A new show has recently begun airing during Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. scheduling block called “Dino Dan.” The CG-animated/live-action series teaches young viewers all about dinosaurs!
So far 26 episodes of the show have been ordered. Here is a description of the show from Nick Jr’s website:
“Dino Dan teaches kids about the dinosaurs and how to use the scientific method to identify and solve problems in their everyday lives.”

“Dino Dan” will soon be the reason why we might get a DVR. My 4 and 2 year old LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show. They have learned so much in the few episodes that they have watched. It’s also given mommy 26 minutes of pease.

My son( age 2 1/2) also loves it and asks for it all hours of the day. I finally purchased episodes off iTunes for my iPod and bought a cable for the iPod that connects to a TV using the red/yellow/white cables so “Dino Dan” can now go everywhere with us.
“Dino Dan” IS the reason we have a DVR for our 2 year old son who is also obsessed with the show!!! His NOW love for dinosaurs is also what finally helped us get him to sleep in his own bed when I bought ALL dinosaur bedding and decor for his room…ALL thanks to “Dino Dan”!!! I’m hoping for many and new episodes of this show since my son already knows them all by heart!!!
OMG dino dan is sooo adorable!! i watch it with my little cousin! its perfect for toddlers who like dinos!!! really educational.
My 3 year old daughter is obsessed, she begs all day to watch Dino Dan. I wish I could buy the episodes on DVD.
My 4yo is crazy about the show. He was already a budding paleontologist. The CGI dinosaurs are superb, and most of the information on the show is current. There are occasional small lapses, like when the “reptile expert from the Zoo” refers to “dinosaur” as Latin.
Great show, my 3 years old waits for new episode whole day. I am recording it on my dish DVR and he watches it 6-7 times a day. He loves it. The only question – why you don’t sell it on DVD I would love to buy it for my car.
My five year old daughter absolutely loves Dino Dan!!! She wakes up in the morning asking to fly to go see Dino Dan:) Thumbs up all the way for Dino Dan!!! Wish it were on DVD as well
My 2 year old asks all day for Dino Dan. I have them dvr’d, but REALLY wish there was a dvd for the car. He asks for Dan all the time in the car & I have nothing for him

My 2yr old loves Dino Dan so much that I had to download it on my phone. Hopefully a DVD series of Dino Dan comes out soon! It would be a great x-mas gift for my little one!
My 4.5 old son has just informed me that he will be asking Santa for DVD’s of Dino Dan. Oh boy . . . this is gonna be a hard one to explain unless you all plan on releasing a DVD soon . . . peas say carrots! =)
We too have an obsession with Dino Dan in our home. My 3yo GIRL begs for it. I wish there was books,DVDs, shirts, etc. For the upcoming christmas season. I suppose its too new for this stuff. I hope nick keeps this on. I’ve heard complaining on other sites that its too mature for Nick jr.
