The Voice Of Dora The Explorer Files Lawsuit Against Nickelodeon
After being let go as the voice of Nickelodeon character “Dora The Explorer,” Caitlin Sanchez has filed a lawsuit against the network claiming that she was worth far more than she was paid.
Caitlin signed a contract with Nick back in 2007 and made approximately $300,000 for working on the show for three years. In addition, Caitlin has made a LOT of money off of merchandise royalties and rerun residuals.
The main reason that Caitlin is suing is because she claims to have been told she would be the voice of Dora until 2012, however Nickelodeon let her go claiming that due to puberty her voice changed.
Caitlin is currently 14-years-old.
