On September 17th the new “Fred The Movie” will premiere on the Nickelodeon channel. The show stars Lucas Cruikshank as Fred in an adventure to win over his love, Judy (played by Pixie Lott).
“iCarly” star Jennette McCurdy will play Bertha in the movie while WWE’s John Cena plays Fred’s dad and Siobhan Fallon acts as Fred’s mom.
Nickelodeon President of Original Programming and Development, Marjorie Cohn, said about the new movie:
Internet comedy is a great unifier and Fred is already a mega-star with kids of all ages and genders. While the fans will be super psyched at meeting all the regulars of Fred’s world, the movie will also bring in a brand new audience who will love its unique tone.
