Actress Salma Hayek has teamed with Nickelodeon character Dora the Explorer to promote a new website called Beyond the Backpack which helps children get ready for school.

The site is perfect for parents of preschoolers, as it gives parents tools and checklists to gauge their child’s readiness for kindergarten.
