Will DreamWorks Animation Drop Paramount?

Rumor has it that DreamWorks Animation may be getting ready to drop Paramount as its distributer, however the chief executive of DreamWorks, Jeffrey Katzenberg, said this is not the case.

Paramounts current distribution deal with DreamWorks Animation ends at the end of the year in 2012 – so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Jeffrey has come out and said that Paramount has nothing to worry about:

They’ve done an outstanding job for us. We have a lot of confidence in them both domestically and internationally. There are a lot of moving parts. We really don’t have anything new to report today.
